Human Subjects

University policy requires that all research involving human subjects be reviewed and approved by the 69Ìþ«Æ· Institutional Review Board (IRB) before research activities begin. The IRB is a single part of a larger Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) at the 69Ìþ«Æ·. The 69Ìþ«Æ· HRPP is a collaborative network of institutional officials, researchers, faculty, staff, students, and members from the community whose aim is to support ethically and scientifically sound research.

The 69Ìþ«Æ· facilitates human subjects research through two IRB committees: The Biomedical and the EBR (Educational and Behavioral Research) committees. To view upcoming submission deadlines and meeting dates for both IRB reviewing boards, please view the IRB Calendar provided on the right-hand panel of this page.
